Club History

The St. Helens Camera Club was founded in 1900. the club has come a long way since those early victorian years. "Picture" those big heavy box plate camera, with the black covers the updside down images and the long drawn out process of obtaining your prints at the end of it.

The St. Helens Camera club have now gone upmarket with the use of the more upto date digital camera's where images can now be processed at the "click" of a button. Instant images!.

With all the latest technology and the use of software such as Adobe Photoshop™ then photography is an art for learning new skills.
